Which of these scenic Chrono spots would you vacation in? Vote, or I will initiate the next Time Crash!
The options that didn't make it in:
Blackbird - Great view, and OMGDALTRON CURZ U BEALTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
? City - ? - Wait, is Serge here? Or was it Janus? Huh? What is this place? Who am I?
Viper Manor (Radical Dreamers) - No flashlights, no admittance. Pain waiver required.
Terra Cave - Hearty grog and stories of surviving on meager portions for millions of years. If you can mind the smell.

Nyet! I vote...Hermit's Hideaway...I like to be alone and while Water Dragon Isle does sound nice, I wouldn't want the fairies to bug me.

Why would I choose anywhere else?

I caved in to Termina and Viper Manor. I'd rent out Van's second story room, and then spend a romantic evening on that very top patio in Viper Manor (where Kid falls off). That place is awesome at night.

I chose Enhasa because of, well, hey. Zeal.
But if the option had been there, it would've been Arni, because of:
1. Quaint islander architecture right up on the azure sea;
2. Walking distance from the white sands of Opassa beach (be on the look out for world-changing events!)
3. Developing economy means cheap prices;
4. Where else can you go where all the locals speak like philosopher-poets?

Magus' Lair. Gothic Architecture? Nice. Spell Circle? Most Excellent. On a remote Island? Hermitastic. Not to mention it held, in my humble opinion, the single best mage ever.

Out of anywhere, I'd say Chronopolis. You know that retina scan by the frozen flame, and the "Unauthorized entry ot tampering with security system will result in death"? ...Oh yeah, I'd try it.

Enhasa! Zeal is one of the main reasons I love the series. :D

Yeah, Enhasa is really nice. The citizens are pretty laid-back, and I doubt I would stick around long enough for the Queen to begin trying to harness Lavos' power and destroy us all in the process.

I would have to choose Enhasa. The reason is because I would find it such a thrill to be on a floating continent, way above the clouds. If I looked down, I don't know if I'd puke or gaze in awe. :P
Another reason would have to be that it would make me forget all my troubles there on Earth.

The result of this poll is clear. If Chrono Break ever comes out, we should get to explore Zeal. Unless Masato Kato comes up with an even more breathtaking place.
(Or unless CB never comes out, but I didn't want to ruin this quiet atmosphere with Opassa beach and dinosaurs and bear traps... :P )

I wouldn't count on that. Just look at Chrono Cross. Kato's slogan is apparently the same as Nissan's: "Shift Expectations".

I'd agree with Meta if that was on here. Mucho relaxo fishing town for the win. But yeah I'll go with the carnival atmosphere of Truce as backup.

Man, been playing through Cross. How did I not choose Water Dragon Isle? That place is gorgeous! Both worlds, although I'd give Home the edge, if you didn't have to listen to fairies giving you morality lectures.

Yes, I imagine that would become quite irritating after a time. You'd need to make it clear you had no intentions of doing anything against their morality from the get-go or else you wouldn't be living too peacefully with them.

I choose Ioka because I really like the environment around, and there are parties at night!

2300 A.D. so I could get all the future tech and steal the Epoch. Dynamite might not work on Zeal doors, but Belthasar forgot to fix the broken window in the hangar/garage/parking lot/whatever and he left the keys in the ignition.
Besides, it's not like anybody else is going to use it.

Enhasa would be so freaking awesome. I'd love to spend a day in Zeal, reading all their mythological books, studying their forms of religion and science. I'm such a nerd. I'll bet Lucca would fem-gasm over a day in Zeal's greatest library too. ^.^

I took water dragon isle. There's a mammoth beneath you that esentially does keep order (Speaking of, "I wonder" why water Dragon did not react on Dwarves destroying fairies. The only conclusion I draw is it did not want to interfere because it knew Serge's coming), there's bunch of overgoes and undergoes of creeks, stones, pretty environment, fresh air, it's an island, and you're surrounded with pretty fairies. One for massage, one as geisha,one for cooking, and so forth.
But, I'd choose something that isn't offered. I'd go either to Chronopolis, which is simply stunning, or to Dead Sea beyond Pearl gates., the one in ruins...thrilling indeed...

before anything else, i must say that i am overjoyed to have
found this website. i am a big fan of CT/CC and i regret
not having played radical dreamers. as for the poll,
i don't like to uneven the score further, but i simply
cant resist the beauty of Zeal. Enhasa all the way :)

zeal (enhasa) would be great and all, but i wouldn't be able to get it out of my head that i'm on a flying island. i would be afraid of it falling, or of me somehow falling off the edge. i get that way on planes and i did at the grand canyon.

I barely see Acrophobia as a legitimate phobia...Fear of falling to your death seems completely rational to me...unless you're completely harnessed and there's a giant cushion under you and you're still afraid, I wouldn't call it a phobia at all. Otherwise it's just good ol' survival instincts.

Just wear a parachute at all times, and you will be fine. If Zeal were to drop, you could float effortlessly downward, and hopefully miss the ensuing Tsunami as well.

None of these places are cold enough for me. Enhasa sounds nice but.... Water Dragon Isle the fairies might make good inspiration...Then I take over there society and rule mwhahahahahahahaha!!! (Not really)
Did you know most phobias don't have an official name. One of the few phobia's that need to be treated as a real mental illness (and not just an irrational fear) is...um a...agoraphobia or something like that. The fear of leaving a safe space or area basicly. It can be pretty bad since no matter how active they are the person can't leave that safe place or they can actually have horrible panic attacks (that's when it really bad though)

End of time for me. Read a book from any time period, go to a library in any time. My second would have been Termina... frankly, While I'm certain that realistically, it is quite small compared to, say Enhasia, it was really the only place on the list that struck me as a big city, and I am a city boy.

Ah, nothing like the Kingdom of Zeal. Ever since I first played Chrono Trigger, I've wanted to visit that place. It's beautiful, it's advanced, it's magical. To top it all off, it's a floating island! One can either sit back and relax, or spend your time simply focused on whatever developments one is developing. It's a beautiful utopia...until the corruption.
Second choice is either Magus' Castle, or End of Time.

Everything about 12000 BC in Chrono Trigger is beautiful, so I would definitely decide on Enhasa =D
