Title: Story, Plot and Chapter Names
Post by: justin3009 on September 04, 2006, 10:20:01 am
Plot Outline (in a non-outline form!)

12,000 BC – CT-Alternate Dimension:

In the normal CT dimension, about this time, Zeal ordered the Gurus to build the Ocean Palace, to help bring them closer to the powerful Lavos, in hopes of sapping more and more energy from it. In this dimension, they declined the order, meeting in secret to decide what move they should make. They all felt the same unease when dealing with the power from Lavos, and they saw the madness seeping into their Queen. They were afraid it would destroy Zeal (which it did in the CT timeline). In response, they decided to pool their collective talents together and create another place to live for those wishing to escape the coming madness. Belthasar had witnessed signs of the existence of alternate dimensions, and had an idea of making their own.

So the three of them took flight, hiding away on the small island mass of the Sun Keep, where the Moon Stone was found fully charged many many years ago. Using their knowledge of Elemental power, they raised the island, much like Zeal was raised, and added movement features to help remain hidden from Zeal's police. They immediately started building their facilities to work on creating a dimension of their own, one where peace and freedom would reign.

15 years pass. Their development is complete, and now they faced the dangerous task of gathering those who would populate their brilliant creation. Disguising themselves, they went to the snow-covered ground underneath the freezing clouds and made the offer to enter their dimension to the banished Earthbound Ones. Every one of them gladly accepted the offer, and they quickly made way.

Not desiring to mourn over lost friends, the three delved even deeper into danger and sought out those who they knew would keep a sane head, even when facing the madness of Lavos' power. Each of the Zealians they spoke with nearly sank into tears at the mention of being free of Zeal's zeal for Lavos.

Their mission wasn't done, not to Melchior. He cared for Schala and Janus, almost as if they were his children. He sought to protect them from their crazy mother, and went into the castle itself to find them. They had grown, it had been 15 years and they were quite adult, especially Janus. Schala was a beautiful woman who hadn't changed, still pure of heart as always. Janus, tall and frightening, was unfortunately transformed by overuse of the Black Wind. Schala was excited by their plan, though saddened to leave her mother. Janus was outraged, and nearly called out for the guards if it weren't for Schala's pleadings. He gave them a headstart, but it wasn't enough to give the Gurus time to enter the dimenion, themselves.

As Schala disappeared through the portal into the new dimension, which they had named Aeos, Zealian officers burst through the doors and captured the three most wanted men in 15 years. Zeal and Janus walked in and were taken with delight when they realized what the computers in front of them controlled: a whole dimension for them to play with!

The Gurus were locked away, and Zeal and Janus spent countless hours each day toying with the machinery until they had a decent idea of how much of it worked and affected Aeos. At this point, they decided to harvest the land of it's resources, leading the people to believe they were offering them to some God of some sort. If the citizens of Aeos disobeyed, or misbehaved, they'd simply punish them with natural disasters or other “accidents,” some of which were horrifying and heartbreaking to the recipients.

At some point, Zealian researchers discovered longevity using a combination of Elemental and Lavos' powers combined. With this new knowledge, Zeal and Janus lived forever as reigning mother and son Queen and King of Zeal; not just Zeal, but the world itself. There was plenty of space on the planet to live and multiply, now that the Earthbound Ones and many Zealians had left them all that room to themselves, and they never worried about resources disappearing, for it was so easy to create them in Aeos, a simply push of a button.

Meanwhile, in Aeos, after Schala arrived and the Gurus never came through, they become worried as they started to move into the dwellings that had been built for them. In less than a day, they felt the physical effects of Zeal and Janus' meddlings (though they didn't know it was them) in the form of outrageous natural disasters, which came and went in a split-second's notice. On and off, their originally conjoined continent was rampaged by tsunamis, earthquakes, erupting volcanos, hurricanes, tornados, and many combinations of them all. They came at random times of unpredictable lengths of time.

Once the storms started, the people realized what had happened, and were about to beg Schala to find a way back into the original dimension to free them. Janus foresaw this, however, and sent the Black Wind inside Aeos and wiped the memories of all the people, creating new lives according to his whim. Schala, however, was strong enough to resist. He gave her a physical beating, though, and put her in a coma, though not before she surrounded her mind with a magical shield, protecting her from anything he threw at her.

His love for Schala still burned deep within, regardless of who he was now, and he decided to give her a little present as payment for her suffering: as part of their new memories, and alongside the belief of some God that was actually he and his mother, he made her a Goddess, a person of respect, and everyone in Aeos knew her name and loved her, as he did.

Once the storms finally settled down and normal climates formed everywhere, the people began building anew on the now seperated continents. Schala was held enshrined in the largest room in the world, with the light shining down on her every day. People came from all over to kneel before her and offer their condolences to her in hopes that she may someday awake.

Years and years pass, until it is 1000 AD according to the Zeal timeline, which is kept in Aeos as well. A boy whose longed to see the famed Schala finally gets his chance for his 19th birthday. He travels alone for weeks, crossing oceans and large chunks of land to reach the great holy city of Athendale, into the temple of Thale and the chamber of Goddesses, and was given his five minutes to pray for Schala.

As he knelt, the young man named Guile Rentry silently wondered about her. How did you end up this way? What kind of person were you? Will you ever wake up? Then started to ask deeper questions. Where did we come from? Is there a purpose to this life? Can we ever find the answers to the strange things that happen in life?

Somehow her still-awake conscious heard his thoughts, and she attempted to communicate with him. Guile...Guile you must help the people of Aeos. You're all being tricked! You're all being used!

She felt a shift in focus and realized Janus must be aware of her telepathic activity, so she reached desperation. I have no time, he'll know that I've spoken with you soon. You must find a way to awaken me, it is the only chance Aeos has. Please, seek the sun stone, and find a way to harness it's powers. It's possible you can wake me up with that, but that may be the only way. And act quickly, he is ruthless and smart, you won't be able to avoid him for long. Go, Guile. Go!!

And with that final thought, Janus raised a barrier around her, visible to the naked eye. No longer could Guile communicate with her, but he knew that he hadn't just been hearing voices. With a combination of exasperation and fear and wonder, he stumbled to his feet and bolted out of the chamber and looked for the library, historians, anyone who could help give him the answer he sought.

This journey to find the sun stone takes about 1/3 the gameplay, and Guile meets a few friends along the way. Once the sun stone is found, he approaches the temple of Thale again and consults the books on how to possibly use it's powers. It is at this time that he comes across the tale of a mysterious portal at the top of the Mystic Mountain southwest of Athendale. When they go there, they find a strange place floating in darkness, with a standlamp in the center of a pebbled floor. A creature of random shape stands underneath the light, sleeping. When approached, the creature wakes up and offers them his assistance in teaching them the power of Elemental magic. The party members unlock the powers within, each a certain element, and Guile finally learns what is necessary to awaken Schala. As they leave, they ask the creature's name. He cracks a smile and says: “Spekkio.”

When they reenter the chamber of Goddesses and approach Schala, a figure shimmers out of the light that's descending from a window in the roof. He is cloaked, face covered, but speaks with a strength that chills the party to the bone. He warns them not to awaken her, for they will face incredible pain if they do. Guile refuses to listen, and the cloaked figure fights them. After a battle that leaves them exhausted, Guile desperately casts the spell that will awaken Schala, and with her opening eyes came the disappearance of the mysterious figure, who left with a mere “Hmph.”

When she wakes, she first thanks Guile and his friends for helping wake her up. She is more prepared for an attack by “the mysterious figure” now and won't be put into another coma. She struggles with what to reveal to them at that point, and decides to explain everything later. She tells them they need to find the place of entrance, a circle of strangely organized stones in a field of green grass (this was where people entered this dimension, but only she knows that now). Guile and the others recognize the description as the Stairway to Heaven (which is exactly the same as our Stonehendge), but it's a perilous journey to get there.

This is the 2/3 of the game. The Stairway to Heaven is surrounded by the tallest mountains in the world, and strange creatures of violent nature inhabit the forests outside, inside, and on those mountains. This is located on the southernmost continent, the smallest of them all, and they have a chore finding someone willing to sail them to the island (it ends up being a one-way trip). When they get there, Schala closes her eyes and starts to chant random incantations, trying to figure out a way to use both the Black Wind and Elemental powers to access the computers back in the real dimension to bring them back home. During this process, the cloaked figure appears again, less transparent and clearer sounding. This fight is much harder than before, but Schala uses the Black Wind this time, a power she had always feared and didn't want to use much, but knew she needed, now and later too. As he disappears, he smirks and tells Schala: “You finally decided to trust the Black Wind? There's a lot I could teach you. But you already knew that.” He disappears, and Schala, frowning heavily, throws her hand into the air and the stones react. Light fills them, along with shadow, and beams flow into the center of the circle, where a strange portal is formed. They step through, with a word from Schala: “Be careful, we may face certain death on the other side.”

I kind of don't understand how dimension crossing works into this game.

Ok so me and Shane are somewhat redoing the plot since Mystik left us with this tidbit.  We're thinking of changing the whole "beaten" into a coma thing to a either Frozen in Ice or send to some mysterious era where she was surrounded by magical field thus ceasing her aging affect.

dimensions include
Mystic dominate
Human dominate
Dino Dominate
Zeal Dominate
Robot Dominate

Topsy Turvy (where our hero starts)

an interesting idea that came to mind this morning
20 years ago in the mystic demension the mystics attempted to reincarnate the 3 mystic heroes, but none appeared and they know they did it right, and so they pray every day for the appearrance of the horoes

Ozzie ended up in dino dimension ressurected as a dino (found out later)
Flea ended up in the Zeal Dimension as a Zealian woman (he got to choose at early development), and becomes a PC.
Slash ended up in the human dimension, and later becomes a playable character

Ozzie stays an antagonist, but he is the only one who looks the same, slash and flea look different.

Basically, so far for the dimensions we have:

Robot
Human
Zealian
Dino
Mystic
Topsy Turvey
Dimensional Crash?

Basically the End of Time will have 6 corners and 1 center.  The center is the topsy turvey, cause it's the basis for all the dimensions.  And the rest are eras.  The Dimensional Crash we're guessing is all of the dimensions splashed into one, prolly where the final boss is located.

The dimensional crash will be the bad thing the heroes don't want to happen. all dimension too much overlap, they believe it'll end the world.

We sparked an idea a bit.  The 7th dimension, the true one, which was destroyed.  Basically, they were living fine but a dimensional rift was occuring splitting the areas into their original forms.  Damien, as a child, was born before the splitting, and when they split, he split into two beings.  Basically one good, one evil (Yin/Yang).  Anyways, Guile was taken out of the 7th dimension at age 11 before the split occured so he was still one being, but Schala replaced his true memories with false ones, and everyone around him with memories of him so he was a "natural" being of this dimension.

every "copy" of a person in the TT dimension is pre-fated, but because guile is not of that dimension he acts on his own accord, there'll be a copy of every PC except for Damien and guile in Tt dimension, because they are not origanally from TT
Schala picked Guile randomly to help her out, since Tt dimension is flexibly controlled, she need a free thinker. Damien somehow managed to survive the split of the seventh dimension and fell in the TT in the future, child damien is 10, and he ends up getting sent back in time, where he arrives right at the dimensional split
which is where adult Damiens come in. as sliders. They look Slightly different in coloring, Heaven Damien has Dalton coloring, while Hell Damien has Magus-esque coloring.

i think a interesting idea would be have a prophetic book, like it appears at the end and beginning and is in the library and when you read it says the beginning intro and then Guile says "this sounds familiar."

for story, i hate to jump ahead, but in every chrono game someone dies or is hurt or kidnapped. i think Arris should be an arbitur, and at some point they fight a form of lavos, and lavos tries to take her power, but Guile kills her so lavos can't become TD. and then thay have a big quest for trying to get her back.

i'll write it out later so it makes more sense.
i just thouught this would be interesting story to pursue.

Whoa whoa whoa, Guile KILLS Arris? Wow, wouldn't that be an interesting plot twist. But I don't think we fight Lavos in this game if I remember correctly.

well not the real lavos, like when they fight queen zeal she summons a form of lavos, not the real thing but a version under her control.

We're not entirely sure about this.  Lavos is probably going to be a mini boss due to this.  Killign Arris would be a HUGE plot twist.  We were planning to kill of Damien but we'll find out.  If Shane logs on, i'll ask him about it.

I can't believe I didn';t catch that the first time
That's a good idea for the TT dimension
it could also be a villian similiar to Yakra
we could always use a book boss like Byblos form FFV
also, it could just be a Oracle, who turns out to be an underling for the final boss.

And as for the character to kill, we had already thought about damien, which is a bonus for two reasons
A)he's not the main character
B)he's going to hold value as a character of worth interacting with prominant characters
C)he's the character with the light element, so the player should have seen this coming

btw we leave him for dead
"Damian 2 is twice the man Damien 1 was" (a la "Beerfest")

ok after working on this in notepad, i have a possible novel chapter like story that could happen that would kill Arris after defeating Queen Zeal. this establish's a romance between Guile and Arris, and also reveal's the importance of Flea. it also establish's Damien's hate toward Guile.
this has alot of spelling error's and word might not appear for some strange reason. sorry about the spelling mistakes, i typed this really fast on notepad.
         part one
Queen Zeal looked scornfully upon the three, grinning like a gargoyle.

Queen Zeal: i may not be able to defeat you, but i know someone that can.

Suddenly without warning the room changes to the color blue, and the floor became transparent. the three had been transported to a pocket demension, one in which Lavos prosided in.

the queen looked apon the three and screamed:
" You shall all perish!"

the three instantly went in to battle, but within a moments time they relized how useless there elements were against Lavos. Lavos's eye looked back and forth across the faces of the three, and widened when it saw the girl which Lavos had known was called Arris.

Spark's flashed in a circle around her, and she was being pulled toward the tormented creature.
Schala put her hands to her face, and the room seemed to change.she could see herself being pulled toward Lavos, with the queen laughing atop him, and Janus passed out on the floor, and there floating above them all was a warrior.
The red haired warriors sword dropped from his hands, and the warrior disepeared, all of it did.
schala closed her eye's.

Arris: Help me!

Schala's eye's shot wide open and could see everything clearly.

Guile: What's happening Schala?

Schala: Arris is, is, an Arbitur. Lavos is going to try to bind with her.

Arris: and what happens if he does?

Schala's face looked grim and she uttered this sentence:

Then all of time and space will be destroyed.

Guile looked at Arris and then fell to his knee's.

Guile: I'm sorry Arris.

He opened his hands and the elements were unleashed upon Arris.
She put her hands up to cover her face and in an instant she was ingulfed in a dark shadow, and she disappeared.

A giant portal appeared in the floor, and Guile and Schala were sucked into the blue vortex.
faintly a cobblestone floor became apparent, and then shadow's cast from a tall streetlamp. Schala opened her eye's and saw Spekkio and the rest of the group standing over her and Guile.

Spekkio: Miss Schala, you nearly gave me a heart attack, that portal nearly blew us all away.

Damien: what happened?

Flea: and where's Arris?

Schala looked upon there faces.

Schala: she's dead.

everyone gasped in shock at the very upsetting anouncement. Damien turned away from the group.

Spekkio: How?

Guile: I, i, used my element's against her.
a lone tear came to Guile's left eye, and he walked acrossthe floor away from the group.

Schala: Lavos was trying to bind with Arris, and Guile did the only thing he could do to stop it.

Flea's face turned pale, but within a minute turned to it's natural shade of tan.

Flea: There is a way to get her back.

everyone turned toward her.

Flea:Pocket demension's are very tricky, most time's when someone dies and are important to the space time conium a time egg would be used to save that person, but Gasper never completed the time egg. which is why the Guru of Love was created.

Spekkio: i've never heard of the Guru of Love.

Flea: well that's because only two were ever appointed, me, and Marcy. before Marcy came to Aeos in the great migration of Zeal we became appointed as Guru's of Love, because of the family love sister's share througout life.

Guile: Wait, you mean sweet little three year old Marcy is a Guru?

Flea: correct, i think if we see her then we could find a way to get Arris back.

Schala: then let's go already.

Flea, Guile, and Schala traveled to the far portal leading to Aeos.

               Part Two (optional to gameplay)

the three steeped in to the mainhall of Luccia's orphanage. the air full of smoke and thick with fear, the three could see there was a fire rampaging through the building.
A fiery bat came flying in off the ceiling. Schala formed the Orb and threw at the bat, hitting it head on. the bat disappated and the fire on the stairs disapeared.

Flea: Oh great another mission. it's as if this was done to stop us from reachng Marcy.
Guile: Either way we have to head up those stairs.

the three made the long perilous journey upwords, battling Bat's and other beast.

Finally after reaching the top floor Schala spotted the water release for the fire alarm. they walked to it, but a monster jumped right in front of it, a monster we know as Son od a Gun.

the three went into battle, avoiding the breaking beam's in the floor. they each tossed there element's at the monster, only to have the monster return it's own element.

Schala: well this is'nt working.

Guile pulled out his dagger and threw it at the water release switch. then water started falling from thew ceiling, exstinguishing fire's and defeating the fire monster.

Flea: That's much better.

the three continued up the next flight of stairs. the air became more clear and soft.
they reached a door at the top, and entered, there in the middle of the room stood Luccia and Marcy.

Marcy: Oh big sister you're back.
Flea: yes i am.
they hugged and were crying with tear's of joy.

Luccia: i'm assuming you came for help?

Marcy: Oh Luccia you didn't have to spoil the moment, but oh well. So big sister who has died?
Flea: Arris Ashtear of the future.

Luccia: and is he (pointing to Guile) the one she loved?

Flea: i feel there love, i know he is the one.
Marcy: Good we can begin.
Luccia: Stand here boy.

Guile did as he was told.

Flea: know you see guile, when you killed Arris you actually kind of just pushed her away, she didn't quite die, she was just forced into a secondary pocket demension that existed in another demension.
Marcy: of course most demnsions as those are usually unaxcessibe, but with the love you posses for each other you can create a link to here.

the girl's raised there hands and started to float. the rug bebeath Guile changed color, and before he knew it he was being pulled into a small vortex.

He fell from the ceiling, into a zeal like room. to the side sat a old musty bed, and on top of it lay Arris. Guile walked over and kneeled over her.

Guile: i'm sorry Arris, i just didn't know how to save you. i did the only thing i could think of.
Arris seemed to be getting grayier and before Guile could stop her she became transparent.
Guile sat in a corner of the room crying out to Arris.

Guile: Arris please don't go, i want to be with you, you changed my life, and you gave me so much. please don't leave me, because if you do then, then i'll, i'll.
Arris's voice came thundering from the heavens:
you'll what?

Guile: never be able to tell you that, I love you.

Guile felt as if she had completely left him, but then out of the air came sparkling star's coming toward Guile, they came to Guile's side and formed into Arris.

Arris: I forgive you Guile. know let's leave here, and save all of time.

the two got up from the corner.

Guile: i wonder how we leave here?

the two looked around and saw no visible exit. Arris went up to the cabinet in the far corner and opened the door's.
a blue light engulfed the two, and they reappeared in Luccia's orphanage.

Schala and Flea came rushing up to them.

Schala: Oh Arris you're alive.
Arris: Thanks to Guile, he gave me life again.

the group of four went back to meet the other's. the group crowded around Arris , meanwhile Schala pulled Spekkio into the side room.

Spekkio: you wanted to talk?
Schala: Yes, it's about the vision i had when fighting Lavos. what was it?
Spekkio: Most likely you and the other's touched another demension, you see in this universe in which we live in, when two point's meet together from different demension's
the world's make a connection.
Schala: so, what i saw was from the original timeline?
Spekikio: quite possibly so. the fact you expiernced it gives proof there is still hope of rejoining the worlds together.
Schala: i have a bad feeling about it though, like there's more to it then we know.
Spekkio: i don't know, we'll find out soon enough.

ofcourse some will have to be changed to fit the plot more if it's used.

Although the dialogue is very good, Arris is not going to die.  She's the comic relief and deserves to live.  Plus we already have one person dieing >_>...

Sadly we can't kill Arris She's the comic relief.
we've already marked Damien for Death, right when you discover that the real enemy has tricked you into helping him. And he kills Damien.

We intend for Damien's death scene to be a mindblowing plot twist (especially since you discover you've been helping the enemy), since he has been around since the beginning of the game. And he is even the one who introduces you to the man who betrays you.

Well i didn't really think you'd want to do it, plus i just needed practice anyhow.

I was wondering, throughout the story who will Guile ultimately come to love?
i was wondering just because crono had marle, serge had kid.
i'm kind of assuming Arris, mainly for the reason in the original timeline schala/kid love serge, and Flea is a mystic, and the way Arris life was set up it seems in the original timeline they have a better chance of being together.
i just wanted to know because througout the dialouge i was trying to figure out who to direct Guile's affection to.

hey i was wondering also if anymore of the story was done? i would appreciate if someone would send me updated story, that way i can start dialouge on it, and that way i'll have time to refine it to perfection.

We've been toying with the notion of Guile falling in love with an NPC, we know it's RPG taboo
(Hell Link never does anything but rescue the princess)
It'd be interesting to use a childhood friend as a love interest and motive for saving the world
It's in the works
Since everyone but Guile in the TT dimension is pre-fated, it could be someone in the human dominate dimension. a chanced meeting. shortly after Damien Ditches guile after saving him.
Were still ironing the wrinkles.

Ah and SD, Justin and I will be getting onto the story soon enough.
right after i finish Slash's Pants, and we redo Damien's Hair (res it was too big fr the game, his hair was the size of Texas). We'll have the basic sprites done for all characters, except Flea who might get axed if she doesn't watch herself.
Flea might not end up being Flea at all, a completely different female mage. And Slash's Name might end up being changed but that's about it.
So we could be on that tomorrow, and probably at least by friday.

Well SD will be glad to know, we've chosen on Guile's love interest...
and it is an NPC. he is going to meet her fairly early in the game, most likely in the town Damien drops him off in.
We're debating
A her name
B how these two meet
C who helps who
D if this should develop into a small quest.

she'll be a reoccuring character
until she dies, and that become the motive for destroying the controller of TT dimension, because since she has a clone in there, if the controller dies, she has all the memories of the other girl, she just doesn't have access to them. because she is just currently under control.
Seems that TT dimension will be making fun of old school RPG npc dialogue for a little bit.

And we'd also like to say, we've officially Axed Flea.  She just wasn't fitting in and was shunned.  So we're replacing her with someone from the Dino Timeline.  (It'll be human don't worry) >_>

She'll be leading the human resistance against the dino regime.
Viva las resistance.

i feel sorry for Flea, but she was kind of out there to begin with.

i do think one of the hero's should be some sort of guru, or maybe not official guru but has insight that the other's don't know about (other than schala). just a suggestion though.

i'm really glad it wasn't schala, in the original she has serge. and she wouldn't cheat, even in an alternate demension.

We're having all the important NPC's have the full 6-7 frames of walk.

One question, if Guile wasn't being controlled, how would the prophetic book fit in.  Since it's basically stating his fate was set in stone and is being controlled >__>..

the bookm isn't really a prophet, just claims to be, it'll be kind of like byblos from FFV, a minion for the enemy, in the story it could know when you're going to be ambushed, and then tell you that you walk a path of misfortune. also it can easily predict the lives of those controlled.

also just as flea could transform into as bat, we could have the book actually be a wizard who transforms into a book, somewhat CT cliche, but it works for Zelda and BoF.

*Guile will need to find something to see the portal if he watns to find it*

begin first quest

Guile questions the townsfolk, who only seem interested in the local carnival.

Guile goes to carnival, minigames, a show starts.
An acting troupe acts out a play, slash is currently an NPC, the play is based off of shakespearian plays.

a stage effect malfunction happens
the actors are blown to the side, most bounce off of a wall and hit the ground, Slash however slides though the wasll, and his momentum slows down as he hits the wall, the NPCs notice, but don't react, the asctors resume the show, and a backup has already replaced Slash. Guile takes a hint and heads into the wall.
**************************************************
MYSTIC DIMENSION

Guile comes to, and he sees a distraught slash freak out and battle some mystics, in confusion Slash runs away, however the mystics see the newcomers as dangerous, and guile is a target. Guile battles through some mystics, trying to find more clues as to how he can get back home. after battling through. guile comes across a distraught slash at a spring who in the middle of an identity crisis attacks guile.

Guile defeats slash and begins to explain roughly what damien explained to him. Slash digresses how all he can remember is how to wield a sword, and he hopes he can be of help to Guile. (Slash's storyline is highlighted by his lack of identity and desire to have one, later on he finds humility in helping Layla with the resistance, and tries to woo her.)

Slash joins

Guile and slash eventually find a mystic town, where they worship a famous leader, who was very adept at magic. The fable involves the magician and his legendary items, on of which is a talisman that enables the wearer top see the "truth" in all things. (the other items could be found later on)

Guile isn't too sure as to what the "truth" is but feels that it may be what he is searching for. Guile and company head to the temple.

The temple is crawling with mystics it is a very famous landmark. Guile asks to guards if they can enter. The guards give them an insurmountable admission fee to pay*the guards had allowed mystics to enter for 5 gil when Guile and slash entered the screen*, the guards ask them to leave. however guile refuses, the guards attack. After fighting guards and visiting Mystics. After going far enough into the temple, the pendant is discovered, after guile grabs it, and they leave the temple, the temple overseer attacks them demanding they return the pendant. Guile and slash both agree they've had enough of this hostility, and defeat the overseer (who later on tries to get the pendant back during each quest involveing the mystic dimension).

Guile wanting to head back home, talks to Slash at the spring, and digresses his quest from Schala. Slash agrees to help him. Before they can ehad back to the portal to the human dimension, a nu advises they save at the nearby savepoint, when guile asks why, the nu responds, "just a hunch"

Guile and Damien battle through a series of angry mystics to get back to the portal, which the pendant has enabled them to find, they escape just in time.
***************************************************
HUMAN DIMENSION

As guile and damien walk out of the carnival Damien stops them...

Well that's the basic outline for the first quest, certain things may change such as temple to tomb, or spring to fork in the road. What matter is getting the pendant.

P.S. when you're sick and in bed you're too lazy to search for typos, sorry folks.

well i was brainstorming, and i came up with an idea.

unique to the chrono series, the title usually refrences a item of great power(chrono cross, trigger, etc) and a very intresting concept came to my mind. this item would be called(obviously) time's illusion, an object similar to a pocket watch, but what makes it different is that it has no numbers but seven particular insignia's, each one that corrospondes to a demension. and when this item is powered it can create portals to recently locked demsions. and under certain circumstance it could allign all the dimensions so that they could combine.

well that's my idea, i hope it's of some use to you.
it could be easier than using the pendant to find demensions.  :)

That actually sounds pretty cool.  Maybe allowing them to have the "TI" would allow them to go back and forth via like the Epoch in CT.  That was actually a very clever idea Satchel.

Time's Illusion could be the nae of the supercomputer, that separates the dimensions.

not a bad idea to bring up SD
