Title: Address Confirmation - Letter
Post by: Magus22 on April 05, 2006, 10:09:39 pm: Though this is in the Editorials section, I could not post in the News section for obvious reasons. This is the closest I could come to a News update for members.

I am sending out my translated letter to Square-Enix headquarters Japan as soon as the address is confirmed. With ZeaLitys permission, I've used the standard base letter on the Chrono Break page.

Being the optimist I am, if a reply is sent to me in the weeks to come, whatever the contents may be, the letter itself will be scanned and distributed to my fearless leader ZeaLity hopefully for a News update.

How can you help? If anyone could confirm this address, then I can send out the letter to its apprpriate destination.

NO this is not an late April Fools joke, spoof or anything on that line. I worked hard to get this translated by natives of Japan and I will see the letter through to being sent. Thank you all in advance and for any help you will provide me.

I honestly have no idea how to go about verifiying Japanese mailing addressess.

I sent the letter before 12:00PM this afternoon right before the post office closed, Eastern Time. If all goes well, the letter should arrive at it's destination sometime this coming Thursday.

I'll keep you all posted as to whether or not I ever get a confirmation back. The Compendium cost me $0.83

Since I put a return address on it, that hasn't come back so I know that the letter did reach its destination ok.

Now we wait :?

Post by: Magus22 on May 05, 2006, 10:53:01 am: I wrote an english business letter. I also had a Japanese translation identical to the english words just below the english text. But I signed my name after the "sincerely" in the english text and not in the Japanese text below it.

It has been almost over a month now. Hopes in recieving a reply is diminishing, but I am sure they will get around to it. The return address was present and that didn't come back, so atleast I know they did recieve it. I just hope they answer back some day.
