I'm available for Plot and history consultation and/or writing.  Thanks for adding me to the team.  :)

I should be more plot assistance rather than plot director. I say my mind now and again, but it's not my story. If anything, I'm more direct in aiding in the naming of weaponry, and in the rather useless task of having done some artwork. But whatever...

Hah, don't be modest! Classical references and language contribute to the soul and flavor of a game. But I'll switch your placement.

I don't really have the time to do anything, not that I did much in the first place, so I won't mind at all if I'm taken off the team to clean up the member list

I'd love to help with Plot Direction, and if not that then assisting. I'll help with beta-testing, too.

I'm excited this is getting a revamp! The demo really got me wired!

I'm still avalaible for beta testing.

I have cleaned up the roster. We now stand at 20 people. The amount of plot people is still a bit staggering compared to the paltry coders we have, but we'll have to live with that until situations improve and more TF talent comes into play.

"Quality Assurance," eh? Well, anything I can do to help bloat the budget, count me in! I'm really just good for consultations, plot advice, and skepticism in general.

I'd honestly do more if I had the patience to do sprite work or level editing...

I love doing music arrangements, but, they never turn out well, so, I'm just along for the ride.

Yeah, sorry about that... Christmas, my birthday (19), and the very end of school among other things... New school semester started, so things should be pretty lax for a week or so.

I guess I'm pretty irresponsible for a leader, huh?

Well, i'm not actually a full fledged member, but i'll be a spriter.  Sorry about not spriting that other stuff, i was really in a pinch with lots of stuff coming  up.  I think it was during school so i had semester exams and all that to do.  So i'll try to do less complicated stuff atm.  Kinda caught up in my project but i'll do w/e i can to help.

I'll be doing work on importing music. Check out a sample of my work, where I replace the CT Battle 1 Music with the FF6 Battle Theme.

I will be developing my skills so I will be able to help in other areas too.
I look forward to working with you all.  :D

Just think of me as The Kilwala making music at the inns.

Hello hello. I'm Kae, and I... I'm.... I'm a tiler.

...
...

AA references aside, hello! As I said, I'm a tiler/level builder/whatever you want to call it... I work with the tilesets! Right now I'm going through the master ROM and prettying up certain aspects that I immediately noticed during my brief playthrough of the demo.  I intend to work on anything tileset-related. Though I'm still getting used to Temporal Flux, I'm picking it up fairly quickly!

Here's an example I'm particularily proud of. The Vanguard Dungeon!

Because this system's handling of member groups is a little terrible. PHPBB allowed group leaders to do what they wished, and specifying special forums to a group still allowed group members to access the rest of the Compendium. But adding someone to a group here confines them to the special forums alotted to that group. So instead of checking off every regular forum when we maek a new group, we made something different called "Alternate Primary Member." Anyone in a special group is also in that one. However, when Ramsus added everyone originally, he somehow did something so that those titles would not display. Every person I've added, on the other hand, displays the group name.

We have 29 members. But there is a problem.

Inactivity. Solution?

Best thing I could suggest is try to contact them via email (since they haven't logged in for x-days/months) and asking if they still have interest in Crimson Echoes. Until you receive a reply, if even, remove their status as Crimson Echoes team members, and leave a PM in their forum account detailing what actions were taken (and that they can be reinstated if they want), in the event that they log in and wonder what's going on.

Heh. Yeah, but I'm not sure what I can truly do, anyway. I'm no good at TF. Sure I'm a half-decent writer, but as far as Chrono style... well, that I'm not good with. Others have that covered far better than I. And, the thing is, I'm still a little worried about what SE will say. I mean, we're making this quietly, right? That's not giving them any chance to issue any sort of C&D. I know these sorts of projects generally aren't so cared about by SE as, say, Resurrection was (after all, Chrono Crisis hasn't been shut down, it seems), but nonetheless, I'm a bit wary. They could get really annoyed, you know.

The Chrono Compedium's sort of a litmust test. Here we have a giant monument to the Chrono series complete with over two thousand copyrighted images. It is posted all over the web and can be found by searching a variety of topics.  If they aren't going to give us a C&D, I don't think they'll pay much attention to a rom hack, even if it reaches several thousand players. A 3D game is what would eject CT into the spotlight, a situation they wish to avoid. CE won't generate THAT kind of popularity and hype. And if Chrono Crisis is finished first (I...certainly hope not), we can see if it gets corporate attention.

I guess, then...
If you need me for something. Chiefly, I think I could check dialogue. Not write it myself (I have proven that my style is too long and occassionally bombastic for something of this nature), but make certain what others have written doesn't have any great flaws in it. Oh, and if you need me to translate anything else into ancient Greek (after all, Chrono Cross did make use of Latin for a bunch of terms) Maybe for something in Chronopolis? Maybe some treatises and the like that are lying around could be written in it? Not that I'm that good at it yet, but any simpler sentences aren't a problem for me even at this point in time - as long as its not something in optative or subjunctive moods, or makes use of pluperfect and perfect, none of which I have learned yet, I could translate near to anything rather quickly, with relatively correct grammer - at least I can guarentee you not one in ten thousand will know if its wrong. And the point would just be to make something appear 'old', anyway. Sorry if I sound too eager for that, but ancient Greek is my great ambition right now - my goal is to become conversational in it, which is a rare thing even amongst Classicists. I want to be able to sight-translate Homer. So, yeah...

Anyway, that's that.

Well now that I'm working for this hack rather my own, I'll say I'll probably end up spriting above other things, it is what I have the most history with (FFVI). but as time drags on I'll probably stretch into other areas.

Howdy all.

I'm sort of in charge of dictating enemy stat changes, but I will list some other skills I offer that I can do without TF (I will assume anything I can accomplish inside of TF can already be done).  Many of them will be redundant, but a handful may prove useful.

Changing initial character stats: This skill seems well-covered already.

Changing weapon stats: This includes power, price, and one special effect (slow, chaos, strong against "magic" enemies, "Demi" against vulnerable enemies, death, slumber, 4x damage critical, etc), but other abilities are discussed below.

Changing armor/helmet stats: This includes defense, price, and one special effect (haste, safe, chaos protection, etc), but other abilities are discussed below.

I can dictate certain stat changes for weapons, armor, helmets, and a handful of accessories: Power, Speed, Stamina, Hit, Evade, Magic, and Magic Defense.  However, any stats I change must be changed by the same amount.  The stat can range from -128 (which would nullify any chosen stats) to +127 (which would max out any chosen stats).  The maximum number of different stat combination changes allowed is 127 (or possibly 128 if you count the "default" action of no stat changes, which I've never tried changing).  You can make useful accessories this way (because let's face it, +10 STR is worthless compared when compared to the effect of overpowering accessories, like PrismSpecs).  This was a pretty exciting discovery for me!

I can change who can use certain equipment.

I can change elemental protection and scale that protection between 0% and 75% (0%, 17%, 29%, 38%, 45%, 50%, etc).  I can do this with multiple elements, but all elements must be changed by the same amount.  Making a character "weak" to an element under any circumstance is not truly possible, but you can make them relatively weak by having alternative armor protect a little bit against all elements, and then the next armor would provide either no protection (weak) or heavy protection (strong) against other elements.  These changes can done in addition to potentially one "absorbed" element (so an armor could absorb fire, be "neutral" against lightning and shadow via small elemental resistance, and then be "weak" to water).  Absorption is available for armor/helmets only, but elemental resistance is available to ALL equipment.

I can change how certain items and equipment can be used/sold/etc.

I can change the price, power, and sometimes even the type of effect by a certain item (but the animation will probably be wrong).

I can change store information, but that ability is redundant.

Character tech (limited): I can change their power and TP cost.  I can also sometimes change their effects, but the animations will still be wrong.  Still, I found changing power and TP cost to be a little useful in previous work!

I'm removing Oswego del Fuego, Aitrus, and Mr. Tuesday from the group. Other people I'm wondering about:

*JossiRossi's been absent, mostly over at ACMLM's; I'll leave him so once we get back to hard mapping he may help
*GrayLensman's got his reserved spot at the table, although a Compendium without him is pretty empty inside; I want him on the final beta test crew
*Asuyuka, forgot what she was doing
*axi, he's never posted anything, and I sort of granted him access because he requested over a year ago when we still had PHPBB
*Exodus, I don't think he's planning on doing stuff for a while, so he may be out
*Lord J Esq, he's not in the mix until the beta testing stages, when I'll force him to play the game
*ChibiBob, ditto
*Mystik3eb, not sure he's posted anything here lately
*Sentenal, ditto

It's not that I want to deny access or anything, but having a small, lean crew makes it easier to manage and know what's going on.
