Title: Saturday Update -- New Fanart
Post by: ZeaLitY on October 08, 2005, 01:06:22 am: Welcome to the second Saturday of October. As you know, a GBA port of Final Fantasy VI has been announced. This increases hopes for Chrono Trigger receiving such treatment, and thus increases hopes for a new Chrono game farther down the line! To hold you over at the moment, however, we have a new piece of fan art from Goldenboy. Goldenboy was the concept artist for Chrono Trigger: Resurrection; his sketches were brought to life by character modelers, and were ogled by numerous adoring fans. Check out his latest work! I would rather get PSP-->PSPxStudio-->Chrono Trigger ROM-->USB Transfer-->Potable CT Goodness!

Oh, I just got a look at the pic...Looks awesome, and...I don't really see that as Magus "smiling" so much...But the whole thing just makes me go, "Where's da chix!?!" Now we need an all fem pic yo! ^_^ A nice Marle, Lucca, Ayla, & Schala pic...mmm...goodness! It seems mighty Joe Mad influenced. I likes.

As far as I know, the FFIV, V and VI remakes are just going to be something like Dawn of Souls. The episode which is gonna be radically remade is FFIII on DS (recreated in 3d from scratch).

But no guarantees that the U.S. will get it.

Post by: LadyLife on October 13, 2005, 05:20:30 pm: Exciting news. Makes me want to get a GBA. I've never felt the need to own any variety of game boy device, but I do now.

The picture is pretty nice. this being stated from one artist to another, I'm really jealous of the computer colouring. I can't do that. YET.

Any other observations or comments I'd be likely to make have been made before. I'd like to see some of the female characters too, (Lucca is my favorite! More Lucca!) but so far as I can tell, he's supremely good at drawing guys with bulgey muscles. Guys, in general, even.

Perhaps it's a gender thing. I'm more comfortable drawing girls, after all.
