Alright people, I need some people to help me out on this game. So I need a team. The jobs below (that are red) I need filled quickly. Just tell me what you want to be on, and I'll put you on.
Plot Designers: Azarath, kickacecrono0091, V_Translanka, Solidstar
Character Development (theres no CT sprites on RPG Maker 2003, so I'll need someone to make/get me some):
Map Creating (I need some CT maps and, if possible, some CC maps in sprite form):
Script Editor: Azarath, Kazuki
Music: Wiesty

Wait a minute, the red ones you need filled quickly? Well, in that case, since I'm no good as a sprite anything, I'd like to help I guess...I could help out w/plot and/or editing, I guess. If you wanna check out my style or w/e, check some of my fanfic stuffs out.

It was Chrono Stream from the beginning. Anyways, I'm just now building the house maps for Truce.

O sorry. I hadn't heard the title. So do you want me to make a website for CS? It wouldn't be all to great because I have no money and would have to use Freewebs, but I could make one to the best of my ability.

OK here's what I don't get. You have a large team of people to make the plot..... but you already named the game Chrono Stream... so you're eseentially making them build an entire game around a word you think sounds pretty cool?

Well he started the simple plot, that might have something to do with the word Stream. And then he gets a few team members to help make the plot more complex and interesting. That's what I'm thinking anyway. I can't say for sure. Also I made the freewebs site. There's nothing on it now but the homepage, because I thought being the team leader you'd tell me what to put on. I've made a couple sprite sheets. This first one is an option for Crono. I don't know exactly how to import them into the game, but I do know that it's possible. More on the way.

The sprites loook decent, if a little deformed (not that the regular CT sprites weren't deformed as well, but...). Also, next time edit your post instead of making a whole seperate one (double posting). It's less obnoxious to read :wink: .

Oddly enough, I have a Chrono Trigger faceset for RPG2k3. Or maybe its RPG2k. Well whatever, I'm sure you can use em for both.

Nice job Weggy! Also, if you don't want to use the sprites from the previos game, go to charas-project.net, they have an incredibly easy system to make and use your own sprites.

Is it intentional that the facesets are facing the opposite way than they should?

Out of interest, why are you using RM2K3 instead of RMXP? RMXP has a lot more features and supports any size sprites, infinitely sized tilesets and has better graphics. It has an advanced programming language and features not seen in RM2K3 which are a lot better. Why stick with the older, not so good program for making your game?

Um...every character's sprites in the entire game are at http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Characters_(Chrono_Trigger) . All of them. Stuff you've never seen before, like Belthasar's meditation pose.

Seriously, effort is underrated. A lot of people expect quick easy solutions that cause inconvenience to other people when they could put in the, ahem, effort themselves.

No, it doesn't take the same amount of space because when someone double posts, their avatars and signatures are posted twice. It is better to have fewer, longer posts because it prevents topics from becoming cluttered.

HEY! I haven't dissapeared! My computer broke down so I couldn't get on anymore! Please don't stop working on it! As soon as I get my computer working, I'll be SO much more active! Ok, does anyone want the beginning of the plot so they know where to begin? And, thanks to everyone who posted sprites and the likes. I'll be back on later today, I'm at my cousins so my computer time is limited.

Plot: You start out as Janus, Crono, Schala and Marle (or Lucca, I can't remember). You head to Truce village and you talk to a man. He requests that you save his daughter, so you head to Guardia Castle, which is under Porre control. Once you save the mans daughter, you are captured and you are taken to a Termanian Porre Military Base in Termina. Serge, Leena (I think) and Glenn just happen to be in Termina at that time. Schala will recognize Glenn, and Serge. She will ask them for help telepathicaly and during the night, Serge and Glenn will break Crono, Janus, Schala and Marle/Lucca. Once they escape to Hermits Hideaway, Schala explains to Serge and Glenn their predicament and thats where the journey begins.

I have to disagree with this.
RMXP has the resolution at 640x480. Some people may say it's better, sure it is, more space for tiles, bigger screen, etc. However, it kills the SNES rpg feel (or old school feel), and I think most people like the SNES feel more than th new one.
There's also the fact that there are a lot less events in RMXP. Yes, I know there is Ruby, but learning it only for rpgmaker is kinda annoying.
If I still used rpg makers, I'd stick to rm2k3.

Is this plot still up for editting? No offense...but with all the crossovers, it's beginning to look like corny fanfiction.
Also, in my mind after Chrono Cross has ended, I believe that the Dragoons would revert to being the rulers of El Nido, as the Porrean control would seem like something that would be considered a negative trait.
Janus? Um...explain that one, please. Didn't the gates close after the end of Chrono Trigger :? ?

I'm with Kazuki on this... the crossovers aren't matching up totally. I'll be out of town the next few days, but when I'm back, I'll see if I have any ideas. For now, I'm off to work. Good luck fixing your comp Azarath.

This is AFTER Chrono Cross, in which Schala SHOULD have been saved in, so, she would have found Janus by now. Anyways, the predicament is that Crono and the group needs Serge and his groups help to liberate Guardia, and claim it from Porre rule. By the way, we have a music guy now, it's Wiesty.

If you need "qualifications",i have none of yet, but i will be happy to make a fanfic sooner or later. Also, if playing and finishing of CC is required, im out (yet i have read the CC Condensed Plot Summary in the excellent article section)

The condensed summary, while indeed a well written piece, requires actual playthrough of the game as well. You don't really, "feel," the game (the emotions etc.) until you've fully played it. Plus, the condensed summary is a SUMMARY...which does not include character personalities etc.

Do NOT buy a new computer because of spyware. Reinstall windows, turn on the firewall, install a decent anti-virus program and use spybot search and destroy to protect your computer. You don't have to pay a scent to fix your spyware problem.

Also go for Lavasoft's Adaware and get Bazooka - both work fairly well for scanning and removal. Bazooka is a scanner and gives you directions on uninstalling. It finds a few things that the other 2 do not.

Perish the thought, lad. AOL will inflict much torture and damage on you, no matter what they promise they provide. Never even consider AOL. Ever. From experience, I know they are terrible to work with. Nice, sure enough, but no. Just don't.
Ad-aware and Spy Bot are good enough to fix most everything, and they're free. Stick to those, I say.
