This is my first time posting here, I am a huge Chrono Cross fan, favorite game of all time for me. Came across this reddit user https://www.reddit.com/user/Tiriosaurus/ who I saw had released an upscaled video gameplay of Chrono Cross. After searching for a while I saw that he released a version of Beetle PSX that allowed texture replacements in Chrono Cross (higher resolutions), something that could not be done in the past with PSX games. I got the upscale of all of the textures and tried it myself.

It is absolutely amazing, after playing this game every year since I am 10 this is the most excited in a long time for starting a new playthrough, seriously there is no game more perfect for this HD treatment than Chrono Cross.

You're in luck! We actually started discussions just recently about this very thing, with Tirion (Tiriosaurus)! We have a lot more in mind, but playing it like in that video is certainly possible right now.
