Here's what I have so far, but am considering redoing it less destructively.
-
That looks pretty good, Schala!
-
Thankies
-
Damn that is nice!!!!
-
Here, I did texturing and lighting. I tried giving it that under the sea ocean palace vibe and chromatic metal plating.
-
Wow, that looks really good!
-
Thanks n_n

You're welcome!

I like this. It feels like you can better make out the fine details here than you would with the sprite in-game.
-
Yes, well... I had to improvise, as the reference art depicted non-euclidean details.
-
Hold on... structures with Non-euclidean details? That's a very H.P. Lovecraft thing to do, and Lavos and the Mammon Machine are at least partly inspired by H.P Lovecraft's work.
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but it seems really cool
-
Eh I just remember seeing a stream of a Mario World hack called Call of Cthulu, and the streamer saying the structure of the levels is non-euclidean... As in it physically does not make sense. It's like that picture of the 4 flights of stairs that somehow loop

This looks great, Schala! Your modeling skills keep improving!
