Thank you? For what, do you ask?
Well since I have been here everyone supported me wanting to do fan art and that simple desire has grown into so much more. Being a part of this community means a lot to me, part of it being because in a short time it’s given me so much and for the first time in a very long time I feel like myself again and I feel like I’m thriving. I wouldn’t be where I am artistically if it wasn’t for all the great people here, so thank you all for the encouragement, advice and motivating me to push myself!
So thank you all again!!

The world is full of hate and frustration; it definitely feels like there's so much infighting here in the United States and otherwise. The world is not black and white. Democrat or Republican (or Independent), White or Black or Brown or some other ethnic background, Male or Female or Trans or Furry or whatever, straight or on the LGBT spectrum, religious or atheist, whether you love or hate Chrono Cross, the world needs more love and support.
As Vash the Stampede said, every single life has value. PEACE AND LOVE! What kind of energy do we waste on non-peace? It's simpler to be accepting and warm and kind, although there are definitely times the other parties don't warrant that level of respect.
I think that tolerance and kindness should reflect everywhere, and although the Chrono Compendium is a small forum, it is a place of (for the most part) respect. It's funny how something as simple as a 23-year old video game can bring people together, even so many years after the fact. Whether it's moral support, words of wisdom, or encouragement to chase your dreams, we should strive to be the best versions of ourselves. All of humanity has a lot more in common than we'd initially think. I hope you feel good, feel refreshed and invigorated visiting here. I know I do. It sounds like fluff, but it's true. Life is hard, so it's always a nice little refresher to stop and take 15 minutes out of my day to check in on my friends here.
So it is our pleasure.
Just pay it forward IRL when/where you can! Kindness and tolerance and encouragement is the best medicine for all!

I completely agree, the world definitely needs more love. I try hard to be kind to everyone, which sometimes people take advantage of that, but they have to live with that, not me. BTW, love the part of "...if you love or hate Chrono Cross..." HA!!!
I feel like I finally have a plan to get out of this work rut I'm in. Will it take time? Yes. But I truly believe eventually I can make a living selling my artwork and providing art services (I've done some logo work, for example.) For the first time in a long time, I'm really excited for the future, and it's thanks to everyone here! I always feel better being here, which is why I check on and off all day during my workday. LOL
You all rock!!

Keep up the good work! I love seeing people improve over time, and I'm sure your art will take you places in the future if you keep at it. So enjoy the moment! :lee:
