Without major surgery and relocation of the other 8, I mean.
Just wondering.
-
It might be possible.
06FD00 06FD0F PTR N "Pointers to Overworld data (local, first at 06FD10)" 2004.06.21
06FF20 06FF3F PTR N Pointers to Overworld maps (first at 066A39) 2004.06.21
06FFA0 06FFBF PTR N Pointers to Overworld music transition data (first at 06DA76) 2004.08.23
06FFC0 06FFDF PTR N Pointers to Overworld exit data (first at 062411) 2004.06.21
06FFE0 06FFFF PTR N Pointers to Overworld Events (first at 038B6C) 2004.06.21
If all of those pointers were relocated and had an extra entry, you should be able to stick in one more overworld, but you'd need to juggle things to edit it in Temporal Flux.

Interesting...
Thanks!
-
Thanks for the best answer.
-
You can always count on Mauron for a great answer.
Hey--add this to the list of Petty Complaints, but do we know why "1999 AD" isn't centered on the Select screen map for the Apocalypse era? It makes it look... hacky.
-
I haven't really tested any playable 1999 A.D. hacks. If you've been working on one, send me a patch and SRM file in 1999. A.D. and I'll take a look.
-
Cool, sending your way.
From what I recall, "1999 AD" was un-centered in the prerelease and even in images from the beta, so it's a very old flaw.
-
Its not centered because its an incomplete map, Ive completed it in my hack and it looks just fine,@ Mauron if you want to see a 1999 hack take the last file I sent you and make Crono’s kitchen exit to 1999 instead of 1000 (same coordinates)
-
My hack also has a complete 1999 AD map and the problem persists.
-
Very odd, could I take a look?
-
Jeezus, all these secret hacks going on. Woohoo!
-
Yes, it's an exciting time!
IHBP, I'll send ya what I sent to Mauron. Thanks!
-
Found it!
0x0268E4 - X Coordinate of Overworld Mini-Map Year. 2 bytes each.
It should be the same order as the Overworlds in Temporal Flux. 66 00 or 64 00 should work well.
IHBP, I'm seeing the 1999 A.D. string left aligned in your hack.
-
Bless you, Mauron.
:o "We're not worthy!"
-
Excellent!
I was surprised to find out those strings are displayed as sprites in game.
-
Just got around to checking out your map (its been a busy week) I assume Mauron already solved all the problems, its a nice looking map though.
-
Oh thank you!
Basically I duplicated the 600 AD map, gave it the 1999 AD tile set, and then replicated the little part of the map that existed in the vanilla game.
