Title: Resurrect dead projects
Post by: DreamDeveloper on July 03, 2017, 06:12:58 pm
Some projects probably would be easy to breathe life back into- mass fanfiction projects for example (ZEAL). I have considered completing Prelude to a Dream, but I am beginning Genesis of Time.
The ROM hacks would be harder than the fanfiction projects and RPGmaker projects, so be warned and venture into these with knowledge of the scale of these projects and possibly a team for faster completion.

Any specific projects in mind?

Fanfiction projects, because they are the easiest.

I'm still around if the Tarot project comes back to life. The choices are essentially set, all it needs is illustration. It's been derelict for awhile due to a lack of contributing artists.

I want to make a proposition: If I manage to create 6 illustrations for the Tarot project, could somebody revive the sub-forum into its separate entity?

As far as I know, there are 22 cards in the Major Arcana, and having 6 completed would mean at least 1/4th completed. That creates at least a Minimum Viable Product, demonstrating potential of having at least the Major Arcana completed -- and that has always been the primary goal.

Once that goal has been achieved, the rest of the cards could just be extras added on-top.

Sure, seems like there's been enough activity to get it going again.

If anyone else has a project they want to revive, just let me know.
