Please welcome our newest admins: alfadorredux, Kodokami and utunnels.
Forum registration no longer requires admin approval. If your account registration has been overlooked in the last several months due to the influx of would-be Russian spammers, please try re-registering.

I suppose it is better than being completely dead...?
yes it is. and I didn't mean that in a critical sort of way, either. the compendium has had a very good run thus far.

I'd say that it's still alive. Sort of. But you need to look at the corners more closely.

Thread revival!
With the recent Chrono Break (aka, the 48-ish hours of downtime the website went through earlier this week), can we have a small discussion around the actual hosting the website?
Here's what I know: Rasmus pays for the hosting of the server the Compendium is on.
And that's it.
Is it his personal server he runs out of his home? A company he pays to host it? Who has admin rights should something happen to Rasmus?

DigitalOcean. The issue was with Simple Machines Forums specifically.
