Hey all,
So I've been scouring over an old archive of my and found a remix that I can't identify, and a preliminary investigation here at the Compendium revealed nothing. It's a "Yearnings of the Wind" remix and the file creation shows a modified/creation date of September 30th, 1999.
Here's the file...

My first thought listening was, Yes, I have definitely heard this before. But it could be that most .midi files sound similar to me. Searching through my own archives, I can't find this song.
I like it though.

Hot damn, that is an awesome midi remix! I've never heard it before, so thanks for bringing this to light Boo. I'd say the skill level is on par with Claado Shou (he did some nifty tracks that were used in the Crimson Echoes recordings) but that's a complete stab in the dark.

I can't help myself sometimes. I remember hearing this as a kid and being blown away. Hope i did it some justice.

That rad! Great to see that this was remastered; I just gave your version a listen and enjoyed it. Very nostalgic indeed, and you did both the original track and the original remix great! :)
