So, Square-enix released a new trailer for E3, the music used in the trailer is a remix of Frogs theme. Seems some people are getting hyped for some Chrono Trigger news.

Here's the link, doesn't give away any game names that haven't been announced though.

The fact that they used that as music gives me a slight bit of hope.
-
Actually came back just because of this possible news.
-
Here's to hoping!
-
Might explain those dreams I've been having.
perhaps it's Frog's side of the story?
-
If it's any sort of hint/forshadowing... my hopes are high on this. And the reason is because of this thing:

It talks about a recent change in their IP handling. The first point is about their pre-existing ones and possible future use. If it ends up applying to Chrono too, well, that wold be great!
Come to think of it, the third point could also apply, the collaboration one. Well, who knows.

That remix of Frog's Theme was used during Square Enix's last E3 opening as well, apparently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28lBGNYmoCw
Still, with Acacia Sgt pointing out that Square Enix is looking to reboot existing IPs, I'm still holding on to hope. Guess we'll find out soon, eh?

This is very encouraging news. I'm curious as to how Square-Enix intends to do things on both console and mobile at the same time. Does that mean there will be unique mobile apps for each of their console releases? Or does that mean they will be releasing standalone mobile products to coincide with a major console release?

Well folks, it was a nice dream while it lasted.
I'll be over there bashing my head against a wall until I get a concussion if anyone needs me. =<

Well hold up... if Sakaguchi is back for this FF7 Remake, it's very possible upon its success (we hope) SE may ask him to stay on board to talk Chrono - just a thought
