Ayla looks like some pre historic version of a diva, but I'm seeing something else with her.
Magus definitely has a badass look.
Marle is so cutesy.
Lucca for science all over her face.
Ozzie being Ozzie.
Man...and I thought the Kingdom of Zeal fan art was beyond awesome.
-
That's great and all, but that Marle is a fav of mine now. I don't know why, I love Marle artwork, specially when fans do her.
-
This is what happens when you let Disney artists have their way with Japanese characters of fiction.
Ozzie looks positively silly. It's like the creative collision of Toriyama and Disney.
-
It looks much more like a Spumco design (Ren and Stimpy) or like something Genndy Tartakovsky or Craig McCracken have worked on (Dexter's Lab, PPG, Samurai Jack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends).
-
I completely dislike that art style.

And another cartoony style that isn't by Gantz:

I love that style. Lots of room for expression, rather than detailed features. American cartoons. That's my stomping ground, right there!
-
Frog, Magus, and Marle look pretty good. Ayla isn't too bad, but what the hell did they do to Lucca and Ozzie?
-
Hmm...
I didn't know Lucca could play croquet.
But then again, she did invent a teleportation device, so it naturally follows.

I'm guessing she invented near most everything in the world. Robots, karaeoke, boxing, bass, jazz, rhythm, funk, have I made enough Gonzales references yet?

Marle looks so cute. While it may not fit, this is positively creative fan art. The Magus-lever image is phenomenal.

Gal, not guy XD
Cool find. Love it or hate it, the drawings are well done and stay true to character.
The Zeal art is now one of my favorite CT pieces EVER.
EDIT: The Zeal art was a poster included in the CHRONOTORIOUS CD, as seen here: http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/Krow/chronotorious-explored-pictures-and-a-mini-review-149285.phtml
Check out the Gato picture! So awesome.

I absolutely adore every pic posted in this thread. The Gantz stuff especially is beautiful to me.

some of those are genuinely frightening, but nice
-
Eh, those are pretty good, but WTF is up with that 2nd Marle?!!!! She's like some crack whore hillbilly!
-
I've seen those before. That's Kali Fontecchio's work, she actually works for John K at Spumco, and did work on the Spike TV "new" Ren and Stimpy episodes.
She's awesome. John K is a little nutty. But anyone who's seen any portion of a Ren and Stimpy episode could deduce that.
