Title: fanfare 3 midi?
Post by: pat on March 25, 2009, 09:49:48 pm
couldn't really find a better place to post this, but if i'm wrong, please correct.

i'm looking for a midi of "fanfare 3", since it would make the most bitchin' message ringtone in existence.
i can find midis of pretty much EVERYTHING ELSE (even fanfare 2), but not fanfare 3.

any chance anyone could point me in the right direction?
THANKS.

I don't think there is a such thing but then again I never have gotten past the part where Chrono died.

Is this what you mean?

I don't really know where to get the MIDI for it, but there's the MP3. Sorry if this doesn't help, but... it's the best I can do.

Maybe in VGMusic.com. That site has a lot of MIDI's.

VGMusic definitely doesn't have it, but I'd recommend saving the MP3 and just feeding it through an MP3-to-midi converter.

sweet! thanks! it's certainly better than nothing.

i tried making my own, but since i know NOTHING about midi, it sounds pretty bland.

You can try spc2midi (you can find it at http://www.zophar.net/utilities/converters/spc2midi.html).

It would probably give better results to convert an SPC to MIDI rather than an MP3. Also: http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Fanfare_3.html
