Title: Main characters' ages

In the pages of the characters of Chrono Trigger in the site's encyclopedia all the ages are indeterminate, but recently I discovered that the japanese wikipedia gives precise ages to most playable character of Chrono Trigger:

Crono: 17 years old (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%83%8E_(%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BB%E3%83%88%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AC%E3%83%BC))
Marle: 16 years old (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%9E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AB_(%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BB%E3%83%88%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AC%E3%83%BC))

Does this means this site overlooked some source? I would be rather surprised if it were so as this site has many obscure informations.

I wonder where the information came from. Is it reliable? There are no citations or references on the pages.
The stats don't seem to be discussed at the page linked on the talk pages.

After googling around a bit I found a few Japanese sites motioning the same ages for the characters but none giving a source. If I were to take a guess it would be that it is from the manual. There is someone here with access to the Japanese manual of Chrono Trigger?

By the I forget to mention this before because it isn't a precise age but the page on Frog in the Japanese Wikipedia (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AB%E3%82%A8%E3%83%AB_(%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BB%E3%83%88%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AC%E3%83%BC)) says he is around 40 years old.

Heh, they all have their own wikipedia entries.

Anyway, best I could find is that the info comes from V-Jump. This was the most I could find:

It contains the text where those details supposedly comes from.

These have come up several times over the years.

If it has been brought up before and its source is know then why the characters' pages on the encyclopedia haven't been updated with this information(and by extension the chronology)? When I was looking at the site for the first time years ago it really bugged me that the ages of the CT's party wasn't know.
