Here's the start of the PC Development thread.  This will dictate what characters are what and their purpose is etc etc.

Well Layla is the character that will hail from the dinosaur dominated dimension,
she is the matriachal Leader of the humans as well as the Rebels/resistance against the reptites.

We want her midriff to show, but as for the lower half of her body, her clothing is currently undecided.
I've been working with various skirts and things.

Who knows apparently this time period is 1300 AD so she might even have pants and boots,

As I've noticed in CT as time progresses women become more petite.
so Since this is all set roughly 2000Ad but different branches of life for each dimension. She'll most likely be less voluptuous than Ayla.

I'm really just playing around with outfits, Justin and I think it's a good Idea that humans should develop into an Amazon Matriarchy in the Reptite dimension.

So I'm going for a wonder woman type look.
or the bikini top with a long dress
which someone works in anime.

I'd like some feedback on this although I think all the three potential sprites are developing with a significant level of interest.
1 more may surface by the end of the day.

I'm leaving it open to any member to try to put a skirt or a pair of pants on layla, even bad sprites are O.K., they must just end up being what was needed to give me inspiration.

The Ayla body is pretty much what i would have done, the blocky spuedo wonder woman, really would need change.
Currently I'd say th Ayla rip is the best. Reminds me of war movies. where there's a chick in the platoon.

I say we go with the Ayla Rip with pants, just give it some more color distinction between pants and boots.

also go with the Idea of having her use Crossbows and explosives.

i need to make guile's concept art look more like the sprites. i just compared my pic to the sprite, it seems better than my pic, so i will soon update the concept art.

we could make jokes, that guile wears nothing but black because he's color blind, and the way he figures it, always wearing black is better than ever wearing pink.

OR, he's a greaser.

Or, he's mourning.

OR, we could just leave out anything to do with it in the dialogue.

but i definitely want to have a quote from Madagascar, "Can you keep a secret my monochromatic friend?"

I like his pants waterfall effect,

for the torso have the left sid of the jacket flip up on some frames. and if we're keeping that style the top white section shouldn' be a ruffle anymore but a t-shirt beause moving it like a tie fights everything else.

I fixed her hair basically completely, and some shading on her.  The shorts I see have a tiny issue, but i'm working on her back side at home.  She's actually the only character besides Schala that makes me want to work on this alot =P

I'm still reworking Tata's Design.  Ugh, his is the hardest to do yet.  But I think for a weapon, I'll give him an "Phase Bow".  Think Uryū Ishida from Bleach.  We have no one using a bow, so this would be perfect for him.

Alrighty.  I'm really really stuck on Guile's design.  Someone offered to do a quick concept art of him but that was like...2 weeks ago and he said it'd be 3 days tops and he's very active but apparently nothing's been done.  So kind of a last resort, anyone know of a concept artist anywhere?  Guile needs a major overhaul in design and I'm completely busted on ideas for him.

Kind of hard to tell but what he does is he raises his arms and looks straight up with daggers in the air.  He moves forward a bit with them a bit and then finally crosses his arms and slashes down.  The critical will do the same thing but he'll slash his daggers away from each other.

Triple post but I reworked Guile's shading on all his sprite and put him and Schala onto a new sprite sheet for new organization thanks to Acylone's sheet.  I think he looks a lot better now with a bit of updated shading.

Updating Guile a bit more.  Fixed the shading a bit on his front walk, fixed up a few other poses for him as well.  Schala's palette is now from her original CT palette so she's much brighter looking, which was needed.  Guile's back walk is being completely redone, and front walk might be changed soon enough.

Updated Guile's front walk a bit and changed a bit of shading.  I'm FINALLY implementing his side-walking and thank GOD it's almost done.  I've been working on it for 3 hours now and I had so many issues trying to get the hair to fit.  I used as little frames as possible to get it in game, but I had to waste 4 more slots just because of hair that wouldn't fit right.

Edit: Out of every side walking frame that wouldn't work, only ONE had to be slightly altered to fit.  I am incredibly thankful for that X_X...This stuff is terrible.  I'm definitely going to reorganize the entire Tile Molester sheet when I can.  It really needs to be fixed.

Hi everyone!!! So to get down to it I'm looking for spriters for a game I'm making. Been doing it alone for 3 years now, I'm making The War of the Magi sequel to Final Fantasy 6. I know you're saying why come here? Well my sprites are Chrono Trigger sized and ff6 peepz don't seem to interested. The world I'm building is done in seiken denstsu 3 style.. No more random encounters as I've been making enemy sprites for the world. I'm taking all the best things from all 3 of these games I love and doing my my own story based off the lore. If you're interested hit me up, I need original sprites, enemy sprites and battle sprites.. later my pixel peepz..
