Sorry, the shop's closed for now due to some important business. xD But by the time I get back this thread will turn into a Chrono Animation Workshop. So do keep an eye!
Will do free avatars from Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger and FF6. =P Yep, FF6 because I like that game a lot! <3 Though, I could do for other games/anime too; just provide me references.
What kind of avatar: Characters, names, animated, static (no animation), etc. All the details, place it here.
Size of the image: What resolution? Example: 100 x 100 is the default.
References: Provide images for working. Character images (not required if it's in CC, CT or FF6) and pose reference. Tell me if you want any sort of alteration in the poses.
Provide me a day or two for each avatar. :lol: I gots life to attend to, but doing avatars is still fun! If the slots are full, please wait till one's free.

:lol: Actually I did! But a little more than that. The face part, I copied the outline from a Vegeta screenshot. Just the face and hair part. However, I manually colored it and drew the ears, earring, etc. It took me hours with just a mouse! @_@ I could have done a better job with a scanner...

This would have been a good fanart, but animated, it got bumped to awesome status instead. Hmm, actually, the longer I stare at the details of the animation, I can definitely see a lot of things that are rough around the edges, so to speak. For example, check out the blurring on the tip of Magus' left (your right) ear. Still, a great job. I'll bet you could make it even better if you spent a little more time on it.
Looking forward to Crono vs Dalton.

Even in the original CT, you can compare them like this. Though it really hits home when you play psx version, and they give you those video scenes, lol.

But frankly, it ain't talent, it's just interest and sheer ambitious hard work, endlessly pursuing a far away dream. =P I'm never really good at anything, really. >_< I'm incapable psychologically, and it takes me 3 times (sometimes 4 or 5 times) the effort to do anything other people do. I just drew and drew and got this better, but still wanna improve. :lol:
And by the way, Lucca looks like a fusion of Bulma and Arale, not Bulma alone. XDDD Ayla's the only unique Toriyama characters I've ever noticed. <3

The light reflection in the animation seems a little strange...it almost looks like a pin-wheel or something.

:lol: No, it ain't his shoulder. Actually, when I was drawing this I had "teenage Magus" in my mind, like, Janus who just recently became the Magus. And so I though the top part of his cape could look like a scarf or something when you look from a different angle.
V_Trans, you're right, that magical light does seem like a pinwheel. :? Guess that's a bad point. Though I didn't have a clue how to make a light animation for magic... I'll see what I can do.

I don't want anything too fancy, I don't think, but here goes...

The art used for (I don't want the logo) the US Cover of CT
What I want is it to be of Crono and as much of the fiery sword as you can fit and still look good...I want the fire to change color from the regular flame to what would just be the inverted (/opposite) color (that bluish color kind of like the flames in Magus' castle or most of Marle's Techs) the white color in the middle shouldn't be inverted though (the middle should still be white, not black)...I don't want the color change to be abrupt though (don't want it to be like flipping a switch if you know what I mean?)...if the change could happen in, like, a wave, that would be cool (if that makes sense)...and it should then change back so that it looks like a fluid change back & forth when it cycles through the frames...if you want to make it overly complicated you could try to make the flames themselves look animated (that sounds way too much though, maybe just stick to the first part for now :lol:)...

Well, I was thinking the original art, yeah...I didn't know if you were always using original art or using something as a base or something...maybe change the background stuff to anything you think is cool though...mebby something flashy with anime speedlines?

:lol: The only avatar I use a base for was the first Magus's. However, with this thread I was actually letting everyone know that I can "draw" them all myself too. Like the second Magus avatar that I made for idioticidioms, I didn't use any base; in fact, I drew it entirely from scratch. You know, draw a few frames, scan them and yeah. In fact, I can totally make an entirely new Crono avatar with fiery flames from scratch too! But since you want from the original art, that's fine as well. 8) I'll make it!

Ah, I see...well, you can make an entirely new one, but since I wanted that pose anyways, I figure that'd be easier. But you do a good job with Toriyama's style so either way's good. Your choice.

Sorry for the late update, guys, got caught up with stuff, especially my book that I've been neglecting lately.
@ZealKnight: I've sketched up a closeup pose (it's better for an avatar as I judged, unless you want a heroic silhouetted full-body) with animated cape (the collar and cape thingy). I'm kinda disappointed with my drawing skills recently. :lol: I need to practice more. Anywhos, I was originally planning on having Turnip close-eyed, but I drew the open ones anywhos. Tell me if you're fine with it. If yes, I'll work on it. :) If not, I'll redraw. This one's just the bottom layer, while the top one (the hand and sword thingy) I'll draw that in another paper sheet.

To be honest I don't know what you mean? If you mean your just going to do a close up I'm not really sure, because right now I have a closeup of him. Unless you put his sword in some how it would be awesome, but it does look good and I would kinda be fine with any way you want to do it.

Sorry for the delays again, guys. x_x Been helluva busy these days I didn't expect. On top of that my friend's birthday came up by surprise, so spent most of my time making her a bookmark and artwork portrait as present (and yes, she loved it <3).
Just to prove that I still HAVE been working on your AVI's, here's the progress. :D I wanted it to resemble the pose Frog weilded his sword in an FMV, similar to the sprite shown by ZealKnight. Something like this.

:D Finished! What do you think of it? By the way, this is the first time I've done the entire drawing and composition in Flash, and I now realize I prefer Photoshop + Flash instead, as in, drawing in Photoshop. Dx Flash messes up the vectors so much and I don't even have a tablet!

Uh, lass, if ya wanna request something make up your mind. xDDD Animating and painting are two different things for me. If you want a non-animated one, no problem! I use Photoshop + OpenCanvas for that. If you want animated one, no problem there too! I use Photoshop + Flash for that.

@mav: Thank you! :D Of course, that was my plan. I've never really seen many people make animations the Toei Cutscenes quality, so yeah...
Just letting you guys know. By the time I get my tablet I'll be able to make a lot of avatars for you guys. When I get it, I can finally handle the real deal. :D I'll turn this into an animations workshop (or make another thread for that matter). The workshop will be free for all to request, suggest and help out. So those who like painting backgrounds, landscapes, drawing, vectoring, etc. are free to help out! Even those who're good at story plotting. XD And yes, all this for fun and art's sake. But at least we'll have some fan-collabs that no one has ever seen before!

I've been looking for a good Chrono wallpaper for a while now and not a single one of the ones I find are quite what I'm looking for, and to be honest, I have no idea what I'm looking for in a kickass Crono Wallpaper. But I figure, with your ideas and ingenuity, and your talent, you could probably create some of the best.

References: XD Heck, I'll NEED a pose reference! I totally suck at it... Pose it with a 3D program, real life mannequin or pictures from the net, I don't mind anythin.
And lastly, theme/color scheme: The color scheme and theme you'd like (obviously)

Characters: Magus/Crono/Marle/Lucca/Kid/Serge/Schala/Glenn//Lavos
Pose/Scene: Crono/Marle/Lucca on one side, fighting against Lavos with Lucca and Marle hitting it with Fire and Ice spells respectively, and Crono letting loose with his Spincut Technique. Then on the other side have Kid, Serge and Glenn from CC fighting against the CC version of Lavos, with Schala in it with Serge and Glenn doing X-strike and Kid doing her famed Dagger-shooting attack (Red Pin?)
For the dividing middle piece, a still frame of Magus' face with text underneath it saying: "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it.
If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh."

:( Tough news, guys. Guess I won't be doing avatars anymore. eProject's come up and it's taken the shit outta me. Plus, now that my semester's over, I need to build a high end animated portfolio instead (that is, after my eProject). Which means I'll be able to make that Crono vs Dalton tribute! :lee: Even though it's almost impossible for one person to do it alone in a short time.
But you guys will still see your requested animation in those movie shots! xD
I'll be free after 20th of March. Until then, take care mates!

Wow, I totally didn't expect that much! I was thinking of just a small static image where the flame changed color & maybe the background moved, but that's even better (though absolute murder on my 56k :lol:)! Thanks a lot! Totally went above & beyond expectations!

And Gingerest's "Serge/Leena/Kid/Flea" thing seems to be a great and hilarious start! xD But all that after 20th of March. I had 5 minutes before going to the institute so I thought I'd drop by.
