Ok I am not a fan of CC so a lot of the time I agree with the 1 star reviewers and such.
Anyway, I saw these two reviews for CT, hilarious really.
"You already know everything about Chrono Trigger but I've got to say it for the sake of fairness that this is the most over-rated piece of crap I've ever played in my life. I honestly cannot nor ever will see what is so great about this boring, ugly, cliche-ridden waste of time and money."
So what is honestly bad about the game. Sure anyone can say it's overrated, but what didn't you like? Typical fanboy review. OVERATED BLABSGSJDDJF HALO IS BETTAR GRAPHICS = ONLY GOD GAMES

Horrible graphics... lol it's SNES not your beloved Xbox360 and PS3. You can go back to playing the crappy plot games now like halo and such... Horrible sound... yet again it's the SNES. I can kind of understand the gameplay. The battle system is a tad unresponsive, but it isn't horrible.
Extremely stupid and predictable plot.
I never saw the gate thing coming, I never saw the day of Lavos' coming. That's just me.
What's stupid about time traveling to save the world? I don't think it was done in any other game beforehand... uniqueness definetley.
So what do you think guys?

BTW, i liked halo, although i would agree with most people that it is too over-rated for its own good..

It's not that I don't like CC... well I don't. It has something to do with the plot being explained at the end and the use of 40 characters...

I was able to point out factual evidence as to how this guy is wrong on almost every single point. Quite often he'd compare to FF6 and say that it's better but honestly he just made FF6 sound worse or the same. If they love FF6 so much, why are they reviewing CT?

hehe.. Still, i am pretty much disappointed on how he saw Chrono Trigger as just another run-of-the-mill

The people reviewing in the first post are either below the age of 13 or entirely blitzed out of their mind while playing.

I know your not going to like this answer but first thing: Triforce thinks above revews are written by a person intoxicated or under the influence of substances.
Second that it is all right to have reviews that mentions flaws cause not all criticism is meant to destroy a product but to mearly point out someones observations.
Just like I have noticed the characters dont' respond too good if you have a part member that dresses funny for the time-period. Like Robo in the past or Frog in the future. It's not everyday you see a human frog walking down the street or going into a Market. When Blue Haired Magus stood in front of the King the king didn't even acknowledge his presence when he should have him chased with "A shot of Crisis" playing in the background.
That doesn't stop me from enjoying the game cause they worked hard in other areas to improvise. :D It's still by far the most developed game I have seen on a Nintendo system to date besides MajorasMask.

well, personally I find it hard to find idiotic reviews of the game cause it generally gets good reviews.

Very uninformative and doesn't even state why other games are better.
Talks more about how he enjoyed SoM than why he didn't enjoy CT.

On the flip side I have seen reviews that makes a game more positive then it is, It can be sooo bad that it's like CT is all the person lives for. It's that way with any hit game.
Lesson of reviewing: Always have second opinions and don't just rush to the first review you see.
