We all know how Chrono's name is translated to Crono in the english versions. HOWEVER. Here comes the developer's ending when you talk to the Frog King sprite:
Did you see the little character animations on the world map, ribbit? There's Lucca reading a book, Chrono all in a rush... Know what I'm talking about, ribbit?
Interesting how they call him Chrono there.

Crono's Japanese version name is 'Chrono', and the developers are Japanese. I'd say that might be why, but yeah, could be a typo.

Well, there is talk that the US version will let you name charcter with more than 5 letters, according to a source on a gaming site a few months back.. so it may be where you can name him Chrono.

So, that means... If you name your character "Mike", he still says "Chrono"?

Huh. Funny how I've always stuck with "Crono." Should've named him Kairo, so he wouldn't be confused with the title.

You've got the Developer's Ending? What does Taizo Mamo say? And since you can have over a million G, can you fix that broken map with Mitsuda in it?

While I haven't gotten the developer's ending, I can see the text by hacking.

He gave 1999 A.D. a full map. It looks like 600 A.D. except with domes and environmental aspects from 1000 A.D. It appears that Lavos surfaced on Medina Continent around where Magus Castle and Heckran Cave used to be.

Really? As far as I know, you can never pay him the amount he wants. At least in the SNES version. Because he want 1G more as possible.

You'd also have to get the Dev Ending during Ocean Palace, then. Otherwise there's no way you can make enough money at the beginning of the game. (Unless you wanna use the "Porre mayor trick" until your eyes fall out)
