So I'm toying with the idea of hosting a new Dream Splash -- we are now up to part VI!
For those unfamiliar, Dream Splash is just a focused, time-based creative outlet for Chrono Trigger fanon. Submissions can include any form of art (paintings, graphic design, sculptures, etc), music, fan fiction, essays, etc.
Despite having been a previous theme, I think we should keep the Dream of Zeal alive and it could serve as a potential theme.
I'm more than happy to run it and keep things moving, including trying to drive participation from outside the Compendium due to current activity levels. But first I need to gauge internal participation, if any.

Why not? Time? Resource constraints?
I ask because if you want to participate, there wouldn't be heavy requirements. Hell, a haiku would be appropriate! It's moreso about the activity and sort of rallying the troops more than generating grandiose content. :D

Your plugins are quite literally keeping the dream of Zeal alive. As in, they are helping keep the dream of Chrono Trigger alive.
If we do this, I am going to make a "Temporal Flux Addons" category just to spite you.

If that's how it's going to be, I'll submit an Attract Battle Mode Editor* just to spite you.
*This will probably take longer than any potential time limit, so I'd have to submit something else.

I might go off the rails again in telling this one though. I'm thinking instead of a synopsis like in Sea of Dreams, I'll make this one TV Tropes-style.

Kinda. It is part having the time, but also since I'm not relaly sure what I'd do. Even for something simple like a haiku.

Ah, so it is your fan fiction / video game concept! I wasn't sure if it was something separate or not. I've silently watched you work on it here and there over the years. I did start reading it way back in the day, but my activity level tapered off for quite some time, and I wasn't able to keep up nor continue investing the time to read it (I mean, it is a very thorough read, after all).
I'll start reading through it, but it's going to take some time and multiple sittings, hahaha...
I'd be fine you utilizing that somehow for your Dream Splash submission...

Unfortunately, it looks like my art won't be happening. Tried to post it as an attachment, but this site apparently doesn't accept jpegs. (I'm on iPad if you're wondering.)
I tried to sign up for imgur, but it won't let me sign in, and we all know what happened to photobucket. Is there any other mobile-friendly image site I can use to post a link to? This is starting to stress me. =<

I have the same issue and what I do is email it to myself, save it and submit it that way. It may be a pain but it gets it done!

I'd be comfortable with people emailing me if anyone wants to do it that way, and I can submit on your behalf. At this point I think we have enough activity to justify doing a Spring or Summer Dream Splash; I just have to get a mod to approve and create the workspace in the appropriate section. Unfortunately, our mods aren't too active these days.
I'll also need a banner, so if anyone is handy with photoshop, let me know.

Photoshop is evil. I took a class on it in collage and I only used Illustrator before that so it was SO difficult for me. Eventually I will teach myself how to use it but one step at a time. LOL
I seriously think they should make you a mod Boo. All in favor say "Aye!"

I actually can do photoshop, but the version I own is for Apple and it's 13 or 14 years old. I no longer own an apple and it's not worth emulating a Mac OSX.
If worse comes to worst, I can try and gimp it together myself.

Boo, the board for Dream Splash VI is up now. All that needs to be done is to make a post for it, when you're ready.
By the way, will there be a specific theme for this Dream Splash? Maybe that could be a good first post there to get the conversation going. Dream of Zeal, duh. I can't read apparently. :?
