Title: Scars of Time

I love the violin in this song and I was wondering if anyone had stumbled upon anything similar outside of Mitsuda.  The only other piece I found that compared was "Hot Dog Wolf" from the Wolf's Rain OST.

Well, it's very Celtic, so...anything involving the word "Dance" and tons of people with taps shoes dancing crazily. Celtic music really is quite amazing. Driving around Ireland with celtic stations on is quite a magical treat, especially when the DJs speak in Celtic. It's such a...'magical' language. It's probably why Mitsuda likes the Celtic sound so much, because it, and everything else Irish (even booze, to the 'drunk' degree, haha), just reeks of 'magical.' I love it. Ireland is the most beautiful place in the world.

I found quite a bit while browsing through iTunes that has the same feel as Yasunori's music, mostly roma/gypsy and celtic folk music.
For anyone interested, take a listen at Celtic Fiddle Festival, especially the Skye Boat Song.
