　キッドは……、ボクらは、負けない。
　勝つよ、必ず！」
「フ……、バカだな」
　キッドは、やさしく微笑む。
「この世には、”必ず”とか”絶対”とか、
言いきれるものなんか、ないんだよ。
　なにひとつ、な。
　でも……　ありがとう、セルジュ」

"Don't worry.Kid..., we, won't lose. We'll win, for certain!"
Kid replies with a faint smile.
"In this world, there's no such things as 'certain' or 'absolute',no one can make such an assertion, no matter who. But....thank you, Serge."

Maybe my translation is not that accurate...

Anyone remembers Kid's lines after reading Lucca's letter in Chrono Cross? I don't have the Japanese script, so I quote from the English script:
