Thank you, IRC, for bringing us this lovely information.
It would appear as though our dear Compendiumite, Laith, was in a car wreck. According to his brother, he was going 60 MPH and hit a guard rail. And he's not doing too good. His right knee and wrist have shattered, his pelvis is cracked, and he has suffered serious brain injuries.
Laith is currently in a coma.
Right now, his family is hoping for the best. Let us keep him in our thoughts for now, shall we? Let's hope he either comes out of it and gets better, or that it doesn't last too long.

We're making an E card for Laith. Tea or someone will fill in on how to do this. Here is my lil doing for it.

Again, thanks to the IRC for this idea.
We're going to be making a 'card', if you will. The final product will be a 1024x768 image, but it will be a collage. Make your image and attach it to your posts (as Shinrin seems to have done before I got it in), so that when we get enough images Zephira will shop them all together for a collage.

Oh snap, this is such a great idea! So we'll put a bunch of squares/rectangles together with our avatars or something else? Priceless. Thanks to everyone for this idea, and to Shinrin for providing a great template.
We can make a great big collage of these. The more wacky you can make it, the better, so it's not a strict template or anything. What SGR posted is great too. Make it your own thing I guess.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, nobody post a picture of a dick or anything. Laith's family will probably end up seeing it.

Faust, they don't have to be squares, they can be a drawing or a scribble or whatever. I'm collecting them as they're posted and putting them into one big PSD.
Also, for anyone making something that isn't a square, make sure your background is either transparent, or a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT colour than what's in your picture. It makes it a lot easier to piece together. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for taking leadership of this Zephira. I'm not sure what was agreed to in the IRC after I left, so that's cool. Great job everyone.

The Compendium is so fucking awesome. Thanks for doing this everyone. I know Laith was kind of new (I think he joined in December or thereabouts) but I think he truly has some serious budding talent.

Yeah keb, that was back when he was a youngin' and didn't know any better. Laith's still a bit on the wild side, but he matured a lot since we last saw him. That's why ZeaLitY's get-well-soon will especially mean a frickload to him.

Laith is a really neat guy to talk to when it's a 1 on 1 conversation..I really really hope he'll be okay.

i have even worse news now. the docters give him a estimated 35 hours to live. they say that is a big stretch from the originel estmate but its still not good. :( :( :( :( im crying too much

According to Laith's brother, he just made two attempts to wake up and his brain activity spiked. His reflexes are back, so he might wake up tonight.
Let's keep hoping, folks! We aren't out of the woods yet!

Laith is on probation until he produces a picture of his brother with bruises from a beatdown.

Just so this doesn't seem otherworldly cold to anybody, for anyone who wasn't on the IRC, either Laith or his bro really did pull a stunt here, and admitted to it. Faf and ZeaLitY were tipped off by the user's blow-by-blow descriptions from Laith's hospital bedside over IRC. The conversation there was literally like:
FaustWolf: Man, I hope he's okay. I have a lot of respect for him.
Laith: OMFG! He's waking up! brb
FaustWolf: *crosses fingers*
Laith: OMG! He blinked twice! Doctors are making sure he remembers where he was born!
ZeaLitY: Okay, I call BS.
Faf: Yeah I call BS. How the hell are you updating us every five seconds and be on IRC at the same time?
Laith: Wat did you say!? How could you be so heartless! You'll make Laith cry! :cry:
FaustWolf: Now, now, Laith's bro, don't worry, I believe you.
Laith: Haha, I kid.
FaustWolf: Oh snap, I got pwned.
That's the abridged version. Ah well, even if Laith gets banned or something, I'm truly glad he's okay, at the risk of sounding like I got pwned (which I did). Sorry to tea, Zephira, and everyone else who put work into this.
