Music from Chrono Trigger and Cross has been recently featured in PLAY! A Video Game Symphony. Someone made a high quality bootleg. You can thank me later. Unless you've been living under a rock, you should know that music from Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross has been featured in PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, and that every fan to attend has exclaimed wildly about the quality of the arrangement. Well, thanks to a gentleman who uploaded it to Google Video, we have a high quality bootleg of the entire suite. First, you can watch it at Google Video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2184973319978072435). You may download it from that page by using Firefox Video Downloader. If you're lazy and / or use Internet Explorer, you can download it from our server (http://cc.herograw.org/Black/Video/PLAY!%20Concert%20(Chrono%20Trigger,%20Chrono%20Cross).avi). Alternatively, you can download just the music (http://cc.herograw.org/Black/Music%20(Chrono%20Trigger)/PLAY!/PLAY!%20Concert%20(Chrono%20Trigger,%20Chrono%20Cross).wav). I just realized something as I listened to this. I can't listen to the ending music from CT anymore without it making me sad, because I know what happened to them all afterwards... ;___;

The front page's bbcode interpreter is a lot stricter for security reasons. Certain characters aren't allowed. If in doubt, replace anything that isn't a slash, a letter, or a number with a %XX hexadecimal code, where XX is the hexadecimal ASCII value of the character you want.

Man, i feel kinda jealous. :-P. I've always wanted to go into those orchestal CT projects, but i have never been able to it.(lol)
Anyway, is good that people do those concerts with symphonic orchestra , specially when syntheziser and electronic music is everywhere. :-D

HAHA! I went to the August 4, PLAY! Concert in Vienna, VA. Man I was so lucky! ^_^
So what's it like hearing it LIVE? I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. My heart was pounding. It was pure Chrono goodness at full orchestrated blast. Just WOW.
Now I don't have to wait until the CD comes out. This one song would be worth the album price alone. Thanks for the upload Zeality. :mrgreen:

I was REALLY into it until 'Scars of Time'. I thought that was a little sloppy and didn't like the new arangement so much. Especially opening the strings theme with the horns...ugh.
Or segueing into it from the CT theme. I would have placed it differently.
Other than that, it was great.

Which venue was this recording from? I attended the Chicago concert, and the orchestra's playing style was quite different. I'm not sure which I like best. XP

That was incredible. I never get tired of the Chrono Trigger theme or Scars of Time. I love them.

For me it didn't start to get good until it went into the CT stuff, and then into the intro from CC. OMG SWEETNESS! I'd have to say that intro is one of my favorite songs from either game.
Then the ode to the greatest character in the Chrono universe. The one. The only. GLENN. 8)
