"Octo Monster" is the name given to several creatures around El Nido with octopus heads. They never challenge Serge directly, preferring to simply wander in whimsical circles. Several exist in Shadow Forest, where they love the region's fruit. Others wander Sky Dragon Isle; one chased butterflies and ate one before Razzly managed to make it release the captive insect. Two Octos also sit at the Bend of Time, probably representing Gaspar and Spekkio from Chrono Trigger. Due to their mysteriousness, the Octos can be compared to Nu.
