Can you still access the .obj file? Or does it close on loading?
I know I have problems with moving files over to other programs. Mmmm.......
As long as .dae works I guess.
Plus I am working on something related to chrono and gang. So maybe in a few weeks it will be done. Big task ahead of me, and gives me something to do. Been kinda boring lately around my area.

They do not load at all. However, I just got Maya 2014 and that loads them okay. Strange how Blender chokes on them though.

Strange. I can open .OBJ files in the latest release of Blender pretty fine. Every model, besides the WIP ones that I haven't tried, opens fine.

Re-exporting the OBJ file in Maya 2014 however blows it up to an absurd file size:

Queen Zeal.obj: original is 28 mb, re-export is 102 mb

Wait... Queen Zeal.obj? I didn't know Stingrayii made a Queen Zeal model? XD

Anywho, looks like you're using the latest Blender version. That problem shouldn't have happened, unless Maya unintentionally corrupted the OBJ...

It opens fine in Maya. I re-exported the OBJ and reopened it in Blender despite it being a bloated 80 megs larger than the original....ick. stingrayxiii, what version of Maya did you export from?

Here it is in Blender. Came with the unfinished collection. I'm going to try and optimise it later to reduce the abysmal file size. The saved .blend file isn't as big but is still a whopping 70 megs. Far too large, no doubt.

I use Luxology Modo. But I have to admit looks good in the snapshot. That is why it was in the unfinished collection. I never took it down in size.

Ah, I was wondering why. Maybe, using Blender, I'll strip any stray vertices and extra vertices

Something different to add. Wanted to brush up on my level making skills. So I made the inside of the Black Omen.

No textures or fine details. Just the basic shape of the level.

I'm rather novice right now but quickly learning. Here's a milestone of my latest work. Try guessing who this is.

I don't mind other people putting stuff up.
Not bad Schala Zeal. Hair is always very difficult to get right. And I like it so far.

As for guessing who it is? Clue is the batman sign in the corner. But I can't figure out who it could be.

Actually I have no clue why there's a Batman logo on the character sheet. Even my 10 y/o sis pointed that out. But it's not Batman. It's Kneesocks from the anime Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt

Oh that makes more sense. lol. Looks like a good crossover from the animation. I would have a hard time figuring out how to get the face right.
