[500] Track down this lost CT documentary/Let's Play
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:41:25 am »
No idea how old it is. We received an e-mail about this:

Quote
It has proven a near impossible task for me in the past semi-nostalgic, semi-alcoholic months to locate any information regarding a filmed documentation, journaling a group of friends and colleagues as they experience the widely loved and universally celebrated affair of Chrono Trigger (SNES, 1995) in the course of a 24-hour period.  The film journaled the conversations and friendships of the group over the course of 24-hours as they gradually progressed through the linear of the video game. The title of the aforementioned, remarkable thesis escapes me completely and I am hitherto held in a cradle of uncertainty regarding my possible attainment of the documentary ever again.  It is to this decree I write to you, a compendium, a college and community of Chronothusiasts who may, in any method, shed some light on the subject of the '24-hour Chrono Trigger Documentary.'

Hopefully someone's seen it. Sounds cool.

Well, tracking it down will prove to be quite the archeological dig on the net.

On a related note, I did come across this expensive VHS (I nearly fainted at the price tag):

Well, I didn't find the Let's Play described in the e-mail, but I did find another LP that's not mentioned in the Compendium Encyclopedia.  It's only one person narrating, and he's not that funny, but it does go through the whole game, and it is a video.  Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43YSbOUYy5w
